i noticed a HUGE improvement in bailys coat now that he get's brushed twice a day. though he is a maltese, his coat is wavy and mats easily, so it is really difficult to manage if you skip brushing, even once... now that we do all we can to keep up with it, i am quite happy with the result and even think about letting it grow for a bit longer before cutting it this time - we'll have to see how it goes of course. brushing twice a day seems to do the trick right now. how often do you all brush your babies? (especially the long haired ones )

Elvira is brushed twice a day, sometimes more. She just mats so easily! Lessa gets brushed everyother day. Val must be brushed a bajillion times a day because she has to go to stores and out into public. And Dalamar? I carry around a brush with me at all times now... lol (His puppy coat is changing) |

Ahh the joys of a smooth coated dog! ![]() We aim to brush most days though as it gets rid of the dead hair and stops the furniture getting coated with dog hair! |

Being that I have SO many dogs... this one was a trick question for me. ![]() Well, Sandy, Sakura, Lilo and Chance hardly know what a brush is. They get brushed if they look like they need it; other than that, they don't see one. Though, they DO like the way the soft bristles feel. So, sometimes I brush them just to relax them. The puppies haven't been brushed at all yet. Cinnamon gets brushed once a week. |
